The majority of learning solutions we design for specialists focus on one or more of the following themes: product literacy, business knowledge and application, and internal communication.
FT Knowledge specialist learning solutions are designed and developed by experienced line specialists with strong support from learning experts and line generalists. They are there to help to place specialist learning into context. They make sure that the learning outcomes are tied to specific business goals.
In our experience specialists tend to communicate differently from generalists – although sometimes a good thing - too often poor communication between these two groups leads to misunderstanding which in turn results in friction and lost opportunities.
When we come to talk to you about training your specialists, we will therefore want to know how they support your organisation and how you measure the value of their contribution. And while product literacy skills are no problem for us, we will also want to make sure complex technical training does not go to waste due to the lack of contextual awareness.
