Welcome to Portfolio Management Academy.
The Academy starts on
Monday, 16th
July at 8.30am.
In this, its seventh consecutive year, we have taken the opportunity to slightly change the structure of the course. It is shorter and more intensive than in the past, spanning seven days. And we have moved to a modular approach allowing portfolio managers to select one of three modules focussing on asset allocation, fixed income portfolio management and equity portfolio management.
This year we have delegates attending from the UK, Europe, Middle East and Africa. A great opportunity for attendees to discover how their international peers are managing their funds.
There is still an opportunity to register if you haven't already done so. If work committments prevent you from attending then take a moment or two to read a series of portfolio management articles written by Paul Temperton which were published in FT Fund Management a few weeks ago:
- "An alternative rule for asset allocation" - 5th March
- "Trading with the help of guerrillas and snipers" - 19th March
- "Why we need to shout about GIPS compliance" - 2nd April
- "Much to learn from switch to alternatives" - 16th April
- "Dealing with the tremors from a complex market" - 30th April
Keep an eye on this site for updates on the programme and 2008 dates.
